나는 드라마 제목으로 알고 house of cards 라는 게 도박장이라는 뜻인가 싶었는데 (드라마가 온통 정신적 도박으로 점철...) 그게 아니고 한국어로 번역하면 "사상누각"이었다. "뱅크만-프라이드는 사상누각을 지어놓고는 100년 넘을 튼튼한 건물을 지은 것처럼 사람들을 속였다 ..."

저 드라마 제목이 왜 "사상누각"일까 ... 아니면 "신기루"라고 바꿔서 불러도 되나. 원작을 쓴 사람이 권력의 허망함을 맛보고 (충성하던 보스한테 토사구팽 당함) 소설가로 전향했다던데 그래서인가.
